Paris Residence
Paris, France
Located on the Île Saint Louis in the heart of Paris, this 17th century townhouse had been stripped of many of its architectural details. Limestone walls and hand-hewn ceiling beams were exposed, and new details added; the mechanical and electrical systems were modernized, without compromising historic integrity. A mixture of fine antiques and flea market finds, along with the unobstructed views of the Seine, make for a welcoming pied-à-terre.
