Old Chatham Residence

As part of a large-scale renovation, a repurposed barn frame now serves as a kitchen and centerpiece of the house with high ceilings and ample natural light. A custom steel truss bridge connects the master suite with the rest of the house while referencing the Hudson Valley’s industrial heritage. French doors lead to a large screened porch that functions as both a dining room and outdoor living space.

The project received a Design Award from the American Institute of Architects.
